Sound Days performances 03.06. 17.00 @ “Pegaza Pagalms”, Kursu iela 20, Liepaja
With a diverse performance program on June 3 at Kuršu iela 20, at the Liepaja University and the cultural center “Pegaza pagalms”, we will be celebrating the conclusion of the “Sounds Days” festival week from May 27 to June 4.
Sound Days 2023 will explore the intersections of visual art, audio culture and literature.
17.00 performances and other artistic experiences created during the week in the festival workshops.
19.00 a diverse and experimental program of audiovisual performances will take place, featuring the following artists: Friedemann Dupelius (DE), Platons Buravickis, Reinis Semēvics, Artūrs Punte and Maksims Šenteļevs, Paula Vītola, Krystofers, Rabenau and Mellamellene, Diana Lelis and Mahi F. Bukimi, Trihars and others.
As well the “Sound Days” exhibition will be open for visitors, featuring the artists Artūrs Punte, Diana Lelis and the New Media Art students from the Liepaja University will take part.
Entrance to the event is EUR 10.
For students, upon presentation of a valid student ID, the entrance fee is EUR 5.
Tickets will be sold at the entrance.
The international festival “Sound Days” is a meeting and cooperation platform for young artists, musicians, students, professionals and others interested in sound, art, music and technology. “Sound Days” is organized by the ASTE/Art, Science, Technology, Education and Liepaja University’s Art Research Laboratory (MPLab), in cooperation with Liepaja University’s Writing Studies program and cultural site Pegaza Pagalms. The festival is supported by the Liepaja Cultural Administration, the State Culture Capital Foundation (VKKF), and the University of Liepaja.
